Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is people-focused, organized, and capable of handling a variety of HR tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes.
- Assist with employee relations by responding to employee inquiries and resolving workplace issues with discretion and fairness.
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Administer benefits and leave of absence programs; assist employees with enrollment and questions.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Participate in developing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist with payroll processing and HRIS data updates.
- Coordinate and support training and development efforts.
- Help plan and execute employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
